Raised mostly in South Pasadena, California, Dr. Bloyce Britton moved to Midland, Texas as a teenager where he completed high school. Afterwards, he attended Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Subsequently, he continued on to dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. In 1997 he completed his three-year orthodontic specialty residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Since then Dr. Britton has combined private practice with teaching orthodontics. He enjoys teaching and working with the residents in the graduate orthodontic program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio..
Outside of the office and dental school, Dr. Britton enjoys staying active and spending time with his wife, Edie and their twin boys. A novice gardener with a budding green thumb, he also loves to water ski and keep up with the latest technology.
Born and raised in Springfield, Missouri, Dr. Austin Green fell in love with orthodontics during high school while spending his summers working as a lab technician for a local orthodontic practice in Nixa, Missouri. After earning his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, he completed Dental School at University of Missouri – Kansas City. He then made his way to San Antonio to attend orthodontic residency at UT Health where he met and has trained with Dr. Britton since July 2019.
Dr. Green is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and a member of the American Association of Orthodontists.
In his free time, Dr. Green loves to play golf, attend sporting events, visit area lakes, travel, and spend time with friends and family. He’s an avid sports fan, especially football. He is thrilled to be staying in San Antonio after completing his residency.
Dr. Alexis Polczynski was raised on her family’s dairy farm in Okawville, Illinois, a rural town in Southern Illinois. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology at Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois where she spent four years on the golf team. She then completed Dental School at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in Alton, Illinois. In 2020 Dr. Polczynski was thrilled to move to San Antonio for her orthodontic specialty residency at UT Health where she met and trained with Dr. Britton.
High school sweethearts, Dr. Polczynski and her husband, Scott, are excited to call San Antonio home. They love spending their free time with their dogs, Ollie and Pearl, golfing, watching and attending sporting events, traveling to visit their family, friends, and exploring new cities. Dr. Polczynski can’t wait to keep cheering on the Longhorns – Hook ’em! -and finding new Texas gems!
